1. How compact and portable is the Flair 2GO?
   Folded, the 2GO frame measures 3.5 x 7 x 3.25 inches. It packs into a custom carrying case measuring just 9.5 x 5.25 x 4 inches that fits in any bag or suitcase, with a total weight of about 3.7 lbs. Unfolded, it measures 12 inches long, 5 inches wide, and 10.5 inches tall.
2. How does the Flair 2GO compare to other travel espresso options?
   The Flair 2GO is the most compact, true lever espresso machine. Many portable espresso makers rely on a pump, but the 2GO uses a direct lever with a built-in pressure gauge, so you can see and control your pressure from 6 to 9 BAR as you brew. 
3. What are the key benefits of manual espresso?
   Manual espresso gives you full control over every brewing variable, from pressure to ratio, with a built-in gauge showing you what’s happening as you pull. Full control means you can brew your espresso to exactly your tastes, impossible in many other machines. 
4. Is the Flair 2GO sturdy and well built?
   Yes, the Flair 2GO was designed with aircraft garage forged aluminum and can support the weight of a grown man standing on it, although we don’t recommend this!
5. How long does it take to prepare espresso manually?
   You can brew a shot of espresso on the 2GO in about four minutes, including prepping your puck with a good grinder and heating your water with a good kettle. The 2GO doesn’t require preheating.
6. Do I need to preheat the Flair 2GO?
   No. The 2GO’s thin-walled cylinder is designed to brew without preheating, to make travel espresso easier. Preheating is optional with boiling water.
7. How much espresso does the Flair 2GO make, and what ratios does it support?
   The standard dose is 12–18g, the water capacity is 60ml, and the yield is up to 40ml. You can easily brew a double shot on the Flair 2GO.
8. Can the Flair 2GO make café-quality espresso at home or on the road?
   Absolutely, that’s what it’s designed for, whether you’re at home, at a campsite, or in a hotel room. As with anything handcrafted, there’s a slight learning curve, but the full control of the direct lever system lets you brew café-quality espresso anywhere.
9. Can I make latte art and milk drinks with Flair Espresso machines?
   Yes. Pair the Flair 2GO with one of Flair’s two home milk steaming options: the Wizard stovetop steamer or the eWizard electric steamer. Our Steam Travel Kit bundles the 2GO with the Wizard.
10. How do I clean it?
    After brewing, separate the brew head, cylinder, portafilter, and piston and rinse them with tap water. No soap is needed. Keep the gauge dry and the parts out of the dishwasher, then fold it away.
11. What is the warranty for the Flair 2GO?
    The 2GO is backed by a 1-year limited warranty on the frame and metal brew cylinder. Wear parts like O-rings, the silicone sleeve, piston, and portafilters are covered for 6 months. See our warranty page for full details.
